These roads have a depth of history, and a soul. They are unique, unforgiving, ever-changing, but always red. On April 22, 1889, cannon-fire signaled the beginning of the first Land Run in Stillwater, OK, the home and start/finish line of the Land Run 100. At the heart of this event are some of the most rugged and daunting, beautiful and memorable roads in the Oklahoma country. They take on a personality of their own. But they are also marked by the people who travel far and work hard to ride them. Making yourself a part of these roads makes them a part of you.

Join us at the Armadillo Ultra in the scenic Osage Hills State Park. We will be offering a 50k, 25k and a 10k routes.
This race was formerly known as Osage Hills State Park relatively flat 26.2, 13.1, 10k and 5k. The expanded course makes a 25k loop. The 50k course will run this loop twice. The course has a bit of everything from nice smooth and fast trails, to gently rolling double tracks, to technical rocky single track. Some of the trails run next to bluffs...so watch your step closely as you peer over the edge!

All four runs are loops within the 30,000 acre Oklahoma owned and managed Sandy Sanders Wildlife Management Area. The Trails are mostly graded ranch roads through canyonlands of a maximum of about 220 feet from creek to mesa tops. The 25k is one loop from the headquarters south and back, and the 50k is two loops, and the 50 mile is three loops.
All four run routes begin and end at the DoWackaDo North HQ.

The Pumpkin Holler 100 Mile, 100K, 50K, 25K, and 10 Mile races will take part in the beautiful J.T. Nickel Preserve. The largest privately protected conservation area in the Ozark, the Nickel Preserve is a 17,000-acre remote area northeast of Tahlequah, Ok, and runs alongside the scenic Illinois River. The preserve was formed in 2000 as the result of a land gift from the John Nickel Family. The course consists of gravel country roads with a few nice climbs. It is home to grassy prairies, oaks and pines, and an extensive system of tributaries feeding the Illinois River to the south. The tree covered trail will be bursting with yellows, and reds and browns as the trees are just beginning to turn colors and show off their magnificent fall foliage.

The RunnersWorld Tulsa Half and Half Marathon allows you to run a half marathon on the Turkey Mountain trails or a half marathon on paved pedestrian trails. All races will be going at the same time for some fast-paced finish line action.
Every finisher receives a unique medal for each half completed. These medals connect together to form a Taijitu - the symbol for Yin Yang. Together the medals represent a balance between running on trails and pavement.
The races start and finish at the Turkey Mountain main (lower) parking lot located at 6850 S. Elwood Ave. The Trail Half Marathon is an out and back course with a turn around at the Westide YMCA. The Paved Half Marathon is entirely on the Riverparks paved trail system. There is a nine hour time limit for all races. All courses will be marked with pink ribbons and signs.
